Centrifugal Fans

Centrifugal FansCentrifugal Fans are used to convey gases through process systems; a centrifugal fan differs from other industrial fans. Centrifugal fans take a gas in through their inlet, energise the gas as it is churned in the fast rotating centrifugal impeller, before been discharged axially (see image).


Centrifugal fans have many advantages:

  • Can deliver high pressures (up to 120”WG / 30KPA)
  • Powers up to 1000 KW
  • Are available in many different models and sizes
  • Can handle vapours, powders, explosive gases
  • Can operate up to 815°C
  • Available gas tight
