Eye on the Shop Floor

For over fifty years Halifax Fan has been designing its own range of industrial centrifugal fans to meet the needs of Industry worldwide. Keep up to date with the latest on our shop floor.

The run-up to Christmas has always been a busy period for Halifax Fan. This year has been no exception, we have seen a record intake of orders in our factories in China the USA and in Yorkshire in particular…

With our wealth of knowledge and proven custom axial and centrifugal fan experience, we have secured several large projects spanning many industries.

In the UK we have had to double our shop floor space to cater for several batches of large fans. We have also had to hire additional people across many of our departments, these recruits range from Masters graduates, skilled engineers, to School leaver and college apprentices.

Along with this, we have adopted flexible working hours for our highly experienced engineer team that would like to work beyond what was retirement age.

As a growing, dynamic company we endeavour to continue offering an excellent product with first class technical back up, in Europe, Asia and the USA.

Additionally, shipping globally can add substantially to the price because of international tariff barriers. Fans shipped into the USA for example, attract a 27% tariff. US built fans avoid this penalty completely.
